Gombe Stream National Park

With only 52 km2 of forest running along the hills of the northern shore of Lake Tangayinka, the park has high levels of biodiversity making it an increasingly popular tourist destination. Besides chimpanzees, primates inhabiting Gombe include beachcomber olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys and vervet monkeys. Chimpanzees trekking, swimming and snorkeling in Lake Tanganyika are exciting adventures of the park.
